Screen printing is ideal for printed matters that are exposed to the weather, sun, washing and wear and tear. With screen printing we can print on almost any material: vinyl, fabric, glass, metal and plastic. There are almost no limits to what screen printing can be used for. The colors are clear and it is possible to print colors with good coverage even on the black material.

Some examples of what we produce in our screen-printing:

• Vinyl labels

• Fabric labels

• Signs

• Display glass

• UV-coating

Graphoteket perform product development assignments, where there are especially high requirements for a durable lable. We have performed such assignments to the Automotive and Child Safety Industry since 1991. These prints have extra high demands on materials and material combinations. The requirements includes abrasion, temperature changes, UV-radiation, weather resistance, resistance to oils and moisture or chemical products.

The product development is based on experience, knowledge of materials and the understanding of different production methods. Graphoteket develops and produces these prints / carriers of information. Carriers of information can for example be different types of labels, in various materials (such as fabric or vinyl). Sometimes the printed matter consists of several layers. One of the layers can be the surface (a woven material, for example), another layer can be the adhesion (selected with care and adapted to the material and the surface to which it is going to be attached) and a third layer can be the printing ink, and at last a top layer (a transparent laminate for example).

In most cases functional standard fabrics and materials, based on the stated requirements, are available. In some cases, unique materials has to be developed to meet the stringent, specific requirements. Amongst others, the automotive industry has extensive demands on the products included in vehicles and vehicle interior. We use PPAP, IMDS, OekoTex standard 100, and all types of material tests done at laboratories in Sweden and Germany.
