This year marks the 20th anniversary for Graphoteket!

1991 Thorbjoön Lindquist and Victoria Lindquist started the business in Ängelholm, in the south of Sweden . The idea was to work in the graphics industry and produce printed material. Thorbjörn had worked for the Klippan Safety, which manufactures seat belts and other safety products for the automotive industry, and there made valuable contacts with influential people at the Volvo Car Corporation. Thorbjörn began to cultivate these contacts. Pretty soon Graphoteket started to get assignments from the automotive industry. Today Thorbjörn has gathered experience of various production methods and have built up a broad network of providers of different types of materials.

Victoria, who has drawn and painted all her life, chose art school. The combination of Business Administration and Marketing proved to be viable. Graphoteket have longstanding relationships with many customers.

1994 Victoria and Thorbjörn found theire dream house outside Hässleholm, in Algustorp, next to the Almaå river. The company moved to and housed in the old water mill. Soon Victoria and Thorbjörn started to work for the kitchen manufacturing company Ballingslöv and its sister company SweNovaKök. The former marketing manager, Jan-Olof Hammargren, dared to believe in Graphoteket, in spite of the lack of previous major productions. The annual catalogue for SweNovaKök was the first major job in advertising. Another person, a graphic designer, was hired. In 2000, the comapny grew out of the premises, when the fifth person, an additional graphic designer, was recruited. The company moved into an office in Hässleholm.

2005 we found a cozy office, at the top floor, in a C-listed building in the central in Hässleholm. 2008 Graphoteket bought a screen printing plant in Kristianstad, still situated in the center of Kristianstad. In particular we produce lables for the automotive industry, without sacrificing the ability to make special solutions in smaller quantities.
The Advertising Agency's clients has evolved over the years to include a wide range of famous brands. Thorbjörn is responsible for screen-printing and Victoria is responsible for advertising, and is also president of the business. We work together with our outstanding employees, Stefan Regebro, graphic designer, Mia Ådermark, screen printing and Vincent Lindquist apprentice.
